I have worked as an Human Resource Consultant at StratEx, or Strategy Execution Partners, for close to four (4) years. StratEx is an HR service company that enables organizations to untether themselves with the highly manual aspects of the employee life cycle by providing game-changing software; we provide them sleep at night insurance by ensuring they maintain compliancy with the ever-changing labor law landscape; and we provide practical HR support for companies who want us to “manage” the HR function.
As a Senior HR Consultant at StratEx, I act as an advisor to both internal and external stakeholders delivering sound guidance on a wide variety of HR topics including benefits, wage and hour, training and development, and pertinent employment laws. My current consulting bandwidth includes 10-15 different client accounts ranging in industry and size; however, StratEx is honing in on the restaurant and hospitality industry.
One of my main goals with clients is to capture a thorough understanding of their HR and business needs in order to not only provide sound HR advise, but advocate and communicate such needs to our development team for HRIS product creation.
In addition, I've developed effective tools, in the form of checklists, project plans, and training decks, to help disseminate HR knowledge to both internal and external stakeholders. I am the lead creator of a new HR Training Series being offered to clients focusing on employee engagement, performance, and retention.
After obtaining my Masters in Human Resources from Loyola in 2015, I successfully obtained the Professional in Human Resource (PHR) certification offered through HRCI in 2016. Prior to working at StratEx, I worked in Human Resources in the Hospitality industry.
